About

A bathhouse rose on Apollonia's waterfront under Hadrian, just after Trajan's death, and was later restored under Caracalla. Its ruins still stand today beside the ancient harbor mole. In August 117 CE this stretch of shore held only older buildings; Hadrian's baths were still years from being built.
