About
A beneficiarii procuratoris post opened at Celeia under Trajan, guarding the road linking Italy to Noricum through the Atrans pass. Its earliest dated altar names a beneficiarius serving around 110 CE under the procurator Prifernius Memmius Apollinaris. The station ran without a break for half a century, with thirteen of Noricum's governors represented among its dedications. Soldiers here answered to the province's procurator rather than a legionary legate.

Dedicated by C. Mustius Tettianus, a beneficiarius of the procurator Lisinius Sabinus, to Epona Augusta — one of roughly thirty beneficiarii inscriptions attesting the roadside statio at Celeia.
